Now - really loud and non-stop for the last 15 minutes. 6mo ds is now wide awake which means our evening is over Angry

Would you call 101??

Why? They're not breaking any laws.

dailymailsucksbigtime · 18/05/2018 22:06

It is 10pm- what have they done wrong?

Jengnr · 18/05/2018 22:06

No. I’d watch them.

I love fireworks.

ScreamingValenta · 18/05/2018 22:07

No, I wouldn't call 101.

Do they have form for this, or is it an isolated incident?

MrsAJ27 · 18/05/2018 22:10

I love fireworks as well!

Can you get your ds to sleep once they have finished? (I know it isn't your routine)

ethelfleda · 18/05/2018 22:12

They have done it a few times previously.

Maybe I've lost all sense of what sociable hours are since having a baby, who knows. But I think it's odd and incredibly annoying to set fireworks off at this time of night!
Maybe I'll sing very loudly outside their house at 6am... is that legal too?

They haven't done anything illegal why would you be calling 101??

ScreamingValenta · 18/05/2018 22:14

Gov UK says:

You must not set off fireworks between 11pm and 7am, except for: Bonfire Night, when the cut off is midnight. New Year's Eve, Diwali and Chinese New Year, when the cut off is 1am.

You set them off when it gets dark.

AmazingGrace16 · 18/05/2018 22:15

I think you must live near me...we have just had fireworks constantly too

CaptainKirkssparetupee · 18/05/2018 22:17

It's the first day of Ramadan isn't it?

MrsTommyBanks · 18/05/2018 22:18

Please please call 101. Make notes of the conversation and then come back and update us.

I loath fireworks because they absolutely terrify my dog. I loved them before. But that is irrelevant really.

ethelfleda · 18/05/2018 22:19

Ok, so I can complain after 11pm 😂

I'm probably just pissed off that my evening was cut short. I'm bloody knackered and was enjoying a rest.

There is nothing wrong with fireworks. It's not exactly late. You must have the quietest baby in the world if he never makes any noise. Live and let live.
