When to email after an interview?

I had my second interview for a job last Wednesday (9th May), and still haven't heard back. Now ordinarily I would accept that as a rejection, but they took 2 weeks to tell me I had the second interview! I need to start looking at moving properties but the location is dependent on whether I get this job, so I am a bit pushed for time. When is it time to contact them and ask for an update?

You can absolutely email now, unless they have specifically said they'd let you know by a date which hasn't yet passed.

Hi,

I would contact them now, politely.

FuckingHateRain · 18/05/2018 11:44

I'd call them now

I'd call them and you're more likely to get an answer. They can ignore an email.

I would call too . Fingers crossed for you.

Oh dear, I've emailed now! Thank you all for saying that though, I was worried that it would seem annoying to contact them.

You have emailed but if they haven’t replied by Monday afternoon then give them a call.
