The gambling industry is predicting economic meltdown because the maximum stake on FOBT is being cut. Special pleading writ large.
AIBU to think that the less betting shops there are the better?

I totally agree OP. I think the gambling industry makes money out of vulnerable people who can get into a real mess with these machines. I’m glad it is being discouraged.
