But beware!

GP could be grandparent, guinea pig or general practitioner. THAT can be confusing.

Smellybears · 16/05/2018 20:47

Do you mind if I ask a question? I’d like to know how to mention someone in a post? I’ve tried but can’t work out how to do it! I mean when it comes up with @ and the name in bold

iklboo · 16/05/2018 20:49

I think you need to go into your settings and turn the notifications on.

gruffalopuffalo · 16/05/2018 20:50

@smellybears just put @ before the name I think (testing...)

WishTheGroundWouldSwallowMeUp · 16/05/2018 20:55

mumsnet link says it was updated an hour ago, but CF on that list is cystic fibrosis, but in on most threads CF means cheeky Fucker

there maybe others missed off the list so just ask.

smellybears I don't use the @ but if you want to bold a name put a * before and after whatever you want in bold.

the @ sends an email to the posters, but lots of posters have it turned off.

OhHelp0hNo · 16/05/2018 21:01

Also GF could be girlfriend, grandfather or goady fucker!

HotChocolat · 16/05/2018 21:06
