To think friend is taking the piss?

Not seen friend in months. She messaged me to go out for lunch on Sunday. Great - I agreed.

Next day I asked if she wanted to go out for a roast dinner. She said her parents are now having a bbq so can we do breakfast.

Fine. Text her today and suddenly her friend needs her so she’s going to see her (different city) and can’t do breakfast. But can do dinner.

Again I said that’s fine.

Then she says she might not be able to do dinner as she doesn’t know what time she’ll be back and she’ll be hungover. Can I do a day in the week?

You will be washing your hair.....

Say yes sure and then cancel last minute because you’ve decided to see a different friend.
