Mosquito repellent pregnant?

Has anyone used mosquito repellent when travelling to tropical country when pregnant? Did you use DEET-based or something else? So much conflicting advice on this not sure what to do!

i would just use some. I was living in Beijing when I was pregnant and got horrendously bitten by bugs and ended up at the doc who said it was ok to use a bit of topical cream...

Also I used the bands from amazon (and put on baby’s pram) and also there is some dry skin oil from Avon which seems to work 🤔

NHS states that up to 50% DEET is safe for pregnant women and infants. Best to use something that works, especially if you are travelling to an area with dengue.

strangely Skin so Softly by Avon works well as a repellent for my kids

I was going to say about the Avon cream but couldn't remember it's name. It works wonders as a repellant.

After I quit sugar I found that I wasn't bitten, or at least I didn't have any response if I was. I also take 1tbsp ACV a day.

You will only benefit from trying this anyway...
