I have an acquaintance who has had EVERY pregnancy ailment/experience I have mentioned but obviously her stories are more dramatic. Some of them are even contradictory to things she has previously stated 🙄
- I had hyperemesis so obviously she was admitted to hospital for a week on a drip and was dangerously unwell.
- I had a UTI so obviously she had one and it caused premature labour.
- I started showing quite early but she started showing ‘at six weeks’.
- I felt the baby move quite early. Obviously hers was earlier.
- Her birth was very difficult and traumatic apparently...
- She’s one of those people who ‘love giving birth’ and really enjoyed it
I don’t think my experiences are particularly special or abnormal but surely she can’t have had everything the same... but worse!
I can’t be the only person who knows someone like this?!
