About people reserving changing rooms?

So our local pool has a communal changing room, individual cubicles and larger family ones. On a normal session this works just fine but on the swimming lesson sessions there aren't really enough cubicles for everyone as they are all leaving/arriving at once. AIBU to be annoyed by the people who reserve cubicles by putting bags in them while their DC's shower meaning the ones that have finished their shower before have to wait dripping wet for a cubicle even though there are 5 or 6 reserved ones not being used? I've been sorely tempted to remove the stuff but haven't yet!

This one comes up regularly. Usual consensus is take abandoned stuff out and leave it on a bench.

You can’t reserve cubicles. If there isn’t a body in there use it. If they bang on the door you say “I shan’t be long. do you want to wait till I’ve finished, or shall I pass your bag/clothes out to you?”

Ah sorry, didn't realise there were so many entitled people out there for it to be a regular complaint! Apologies for the boring postGrin

Well sometimes the adult is sat in there waiting. I would love to call them on it but don't want the confrontation when I've got all the DC's in tow, which is of course letting them get away with it

My local leisure centre has signs saying not to do this and that unattended bags will be removed. I don't know if they actually do remove them as thankfully I'm never there at swimming lesson time!

Anyway YANBU. Move their stuff and use the cubicle.

You can’t reserve. Take out bags and put somewhere dry.

Now the person loitering in a cubicle waiting moves it up a level. You could be slightly arsey and say Hi could you move for 5 minutes so I can sort out my children? And if that doesn't work Defcon 3, 'Okay I'll just double check with the staff but I'm pretty certain there are rules about unaccompanied adults hanging around in the changing rooms...'
