The window cleaner came to my door last week and asked me if I wanted my gutters done and I said yes. He said he’d be back this week to do them.
In the interim period, my painter and decorator has managed to fit me in to paint the outside of my house thanks to all the sunshine. He has done my gutters for me while up the ladder painting the house.
Now I’d like to think the window cleaner will come round, see it doesn’t need done and leave it. However, I’m wondering if I should put a sign on my front door telling the window cleaner to leave the gutters. I don’t want to be charged £25 for something that doesn’t need done.
I’m out at work all day so i probably won’t be in to catch the window cleaner.
I also realise that this is entirely boring and not really an AIBU (although it may morph into “AIBU to not pay £25 for something that didn’t need done” 
)
I’ve asked a few neighbours if they have the window cleaner’s mobile number but they don’t
