Go for it! Buy some gold spray paint too, keep an eye out for loads of pineapple themed ornaments that you can spray gold to match cos it's definitely a theme at the moment! Primark have some!

Everything in our house is being done so neutrally (gloss white kitchen, grey floors, white bathrooms, grey floors) that we've gone mad on the downstairs toilet and gone for a chrome Thomas crapper Victorian style toilet and one wall will have funky fish wallpaper. I let DP choose but secretly I was hoping he'd go for the glittery lizards (they come in different colours) as it's just so NOT what I normally like, ever!! Still, at least it's not money in george osborne's pocket, eh??

That lizard wallpaper is amazing quite sure it’ll be out of my price range!

I think the way to go with the jakes, assuming they're small is dramatic/and or big/dark, e.g deepest navy or massive flowers. Nothing prissy or delicate.
