as most of my friends forgot my birthday today.........

Hi, its my b'day today and my close mum friends all forgot. Its been mentioned in some way or other in the last couple of weeks and I met up with them all today. I feel upset but I know they'll equally feel bad about forgetting...

I have fewer caards each year.
Comes with age i s'pose.
I only send cards to really close friends ( if I remeber)

Thank you. Mil said that it was simply one of those things about getting older. But I just get so excited about birthdays...I feel like a kid again.

I still count how many cards I have.

thankyou. I feel a bit petty for being so upset, but it hurts a little. Having said that my DS1 woke me up this morning singing 'happy birthday', it was beautiful! He'll be 3 next week!
