Forgive me if this has been posted before but I don't really do social media other than Facebook.

What's with celebrities stripping off for Instagram/Twitter etc. I'm on neither of these things cos I cba but I'm really struggling to understand how this is a thing.

Sure it's their bodies and they probably feel empowered by doing it, I dunno. I just find it odd to have them out there so openly I guess. Celebrities used to do nude shoots for playboy etc back in the day but that was only in a magazine sold on the top shelves of newsagents.

The thing I can't get my head around most is the fact that celebs of the yesteryear are doing it (Britney, Christina Aguilera, even Celine Dion). So what's with jumping on this weird bandwagon?

I honestly feel like I missed a whole leap in popular culture (probably owing to the fact I don't do Twitter it Instagram).

Why is this a trend??

Probably a lot to do with the body positive movement that's gaining popularity at the minute and to celebrate nudity!

The only part of the Kim KarKrash woman I haven't seen is her ovaries but I understand there is a video out there should I wish to see them.

I am really puzzled by this too I have to say. I honestly don’t get the whole “me too” movement in one breath yet “hey look at my boobs and ass” in another. Maybe i`m missing something?

Maybe they feel like they are 'reclaiming' their assets as it were as if to say 'this is my body, I do what I like with it but no one else can' sort of thing.

I'm obviously just guessing but still I do think it's weird. I think I'm just an absolutely prude who doesn't understand the modern world and I'm only 32!

Lmao I don't know what happened to me, since having kids I've changed massively and have become "that person". I long for a simpler time in life sometimes pre-naked celebrities all over t'internet

Isn't it just attention seeking clap trap ? It is all photo shopped anyway, so they are hardly reclaiming their actual bodies.
