Sorry, mainly posting for traffic and I have absolutely no idea where else to post! Name changed as it's very outing and I've posted a lot Smile

Myself and DH made this for our wedding last June. We are desperately trying to scrape together a deposit for a house as were living with PIL at the moment. These are just sat gathering dust.

Is it worth trying to sell? If so how much for? Or shall we just chuck? They're about 3ft.

Someone might pay £20 or so if you post on a wedding preloaded site..?

CandyMelts · 15/05/2018 21:46

Wedding stuff sells well, whack it on Facebook selling - perfect time of year too

UpstartCrow · 15/05/2018 21:47

You wouldn't believe the stuff we've sold on ebay, and some of the things we've seen listed are hair raising.

Those look nice and they would definitely sell, but postage would cost you £14 by Parcel Force because of their size, so don't forget to take that into account.

Try Gumtree

justanothernamechange94 · 15/05/2018 21:49

@alwaysthinkingofsleep ah, I spent hours on those websites myself so I don't know how it didn't cross my mind! Thank you!

@CandyMelts oh very true! Wedding season! Thanks!

@UpstartCrow ooh yes very true. Didn't even think about postage. May be worth doing collection only..? Thank you!

As pp have said. Definitely think you could sell them. If you are happy to offer local collection or deliver for petrol/if very near by, you might get more interest. Have you other items with a similar ‘theme’? You could sell it together.

Impatientwino · 15/05/2018 21:55

Absolutely. Admittedly theirs are bigger but a friend of mine runs a wedding hire company and rents them out for £300 a pop!

Impatientwino · 15/05/2018 21:58

See!
