Car Boot Heaven!

As you can guess from my user name, I like things, most things, even things I don't like ! Went to the local car boot sale today, beautiful sunny day, lots of sellers and not too many buyers at early o clock, so I had such a good time buying to my hearts content whilst outlaying very little cash.Bought lots of unused toiletries to last us until at least Christmas, a gorgeous lamp (haven't got the foggiest where that is going?), and 5 tops £1 each and my star buy of an immaculate Ralph Lauren dress for £1...has anyone else bought a good bargain today?

We have a market day every Thurs which is stalls with boxes of lovely tat to look through!!
Bought a gorgeous straw bag for my hallway to use as a 'summer storage bag'.
Filled it with dc sunglasses, suncream, sunhat etc.
£2!!

I haven't been to a car boot since I was a little girl. Would love to go to one, sounds really fun. Well done op!

My best car boot find was a bundle of old theatre costumes for a pound, which went into the dressing up box.

My friend bought a new set of cheese knives....she doesn't like cheese!...they were a bargain though..

My best car boot bargain was a brand new pair of £38 Topshop jeans for £1 because the lady had bought them with the hope of slimming down but never managed it. I nearly bit her arm off when she said a pound!!

This week I've bought a pair of Clarks cushionwalk shoes brand new for 4pounds and a pair of hotter shoes also new for 4pound fifty i really lovd s bargain x

My best ever was a gorgeous full set of classic Winnie the Pooh bedding, curtains, quilt, clock, lampshade and fleecy blankets for DS's nursery for £8. Mostly though I come home with plants

An Emma Bridgewater coddler for £1. They are rare and resell for £150!

I love a good car boot- my best ever find was a bed guard for my son cost us £4, we put it away and 6 months later when we needed it we found an envelope with £15 in it no card, name is address. We put £10 in the charity and put the £5 in my son's money box. We have found lots of other little treasures and we love going for a look around.

my one was i was doing a stall myself and spotted a large solid wood elephant on the stall opposite, (think fireplace size) sent ex over to ask price and she wanted £2 for him, snatched her hand off and ten years later he still adorns my fireplace

Today, 8 broad bean plants for 10p each. Half a dozen eggs (usually double yokers) for 74p and a South American folk art painting for 50p.

Yes. I got some clarks kids shoes for my daughter for £4 that are like new and retail for £34. A mr tumble toy like new fir 50p thats usually £19.99 and some Thats not my.. books for 20p each

We have a HUGE weekly boot sale near us and it's amazing!!! Went last week and got an outdoor parasol for £5 with stand and got my daughter a brand new wetsuit and wetshoes for upcoming Cornwall holiday for £1 each. I blooming love em!!

Haven’t been to a car boot for ages but I love charity shops. The best one locally has all clothes for £1 & I’ve had some fantastic stuff. I have found with carboots that you tend not to get the bargains you used to because people know what things are worth eg jewellery, antiques etc. I do love them though.

Oh I love a good car boot! Not been to one for a while, but always pick up books, bits of jewellery for my daughter (dress up box) odd bits of clothes. Last time we went though there were hundreds of fidget spinners, i think that put us off for a while! Never had any exciting finds like you all have though must try harder!
