Sold Dd dress

Just need to know if I am being unreasonable here.
Sold one of DD dress on a Facebook selling site.
Gave pictures of product, size and where it was bought from in the description. Even answered questions from buyer.
She decided to go ahead and purchase.

She's received it and is now saying that the dress is too small for her daughter and I should have told her it was small and not true to size! So she wants a refund.

I was initially going to refund her, but then she sent some abusive messages. So I told her no refund! AIBU?

I’d block her.

Caveat emptor.

gamerchick · 12/05/2018 22:45

How did she pay?

twomadefour · 12/05/2018 23:04

She transferred the money into my account.
She keeps messaging me saying that she feels cheated! How was I supposed to know the size of her child? Hmm

Block her, she's being ridiculous!

QuackPorridgeBacon · 12/05/2018 23:07

I think if she was calm about it and explained that the sizing seems to be on the small side and doesn’t fit her child, I’d probably give the refund and take the dress back. Some sizes are different and you don’t know until tried on. If she’s been rude then probably not. It’s tricky buying clothes and not knowing how the size really is, part of the risk really. Depending on price etc I’d probably leave it and donate it if I was the one to buy it.

gamerchick · 12/05/2018 23:14

Just block her but keep the messages in case she posts you on a time wasters and scammers page. Then you can prove she’s batshit and she’ll get her arse handed to her.

twomadefour · 12/05/2018 23:21

That's the thing, she started to get very rude and saying she was going to report me to the selling sites admin.
So I don't want to!

I’d just block and ignore her then. It’s just petty to go so low.

gamerchick · 12/05/2018 23:31

Yes and she’s shot her in the foot with all the messages. Let her report you. There’s a good chance you’re not the only one she’s done this too.

Come on lass, stare her down. Who’s going to blink first Wink

keepingbees · 12/05/2018 23:34

Report her yourself for being abusive. It's a private sale, you've no obligation to refund her it's just one of the risks with buying second hand.

expatinscotland · 12/05/2018 23:36

Report her, block her and keep her messages. No refund.

Returnofthesmileybar · 13/05/2018 00:32

Go to the site admin yourself first and report her, then block her

abbsisspartacus · 13/05/2018 00:34

Report to the admin tell them you were willing to come up with a solution but she is abusive
