Having a new family bathroom fitted and I need to make a big decision.

The walls will be white "metro" style tiles and the floor mid grey slate. That can't be changed as we've bought them already.

The bath comes in any of the farrow & ball colours (on the outside; the inside is white):

Initially I was going to have the bath painted grey. But there simply isn't a grey that matches the tiles. So the choice is: have a white bath and have something different, e.g. grey grouting between the tiles, or have a different colour like dark aubergine or deep turquoise.

I know the white is classic and can't go wrong, but just can't help feeling it's also a bit dull... but then if I hate the colour, it's s v expensive mistake!!

Bathroom is medium size and will just have plain white toilet, basin and separate shower cubicle.

WWYD??

Looking forward if you sell coloured grout may be off putting!
Would love aubergine though!!
Maybe grey grout and aubergine accessories instead?

Do you think grey grout would be offputting? i hadn't thought of that, thanks!

Grey is pretty tame so would be OK!! Our kitchen has white tiles and black grout and I love it!! Always looks clean!!
