To not worry about the black planet?

Lighthearted.

Insomnia hit and passing time on MN.

Checked my email and I have one very concerning email regarding the black planet being about to cause me dreadful bad luck.

It's an astrological email. I'm being very UR to even read such crap, or to have signed up to such drivel. I don't believe in it at all but occasionally entertain myself.

What on earth will the black planet do to me?! Which planet is the black planet btw? Anyone had any black planet experiences?

Never heard of the Black Planet..........but I do suffer from magpies just waiting to swoop in front of my car , in that lazy floaty way they do.
The buggers sit on the lamposts and say "Look chaps its 70s car. One at a time now, one for sorrow an' all that"

What would Russell Grant say?

infertilitybitch · 12/05/2018 02:10

Just googled him. Apparently he's 'Britains most loved astrologer' he's probably got something nice to say if Britain loves him most.

Sorry about your magpie trouble. Sounds dreadful ThanksGrin

No such thing as black. It's probably just very very very very very very....very very very dark blue*

*shameless Father Ted reference

“Never buy black socks in a normal shop. They will shaft you every time”

infertilitybitch · 12/05/2018 02:20

@TheFaerieQueene I buy them in primark what's going to happen?!

@FrancisUnderwood just googled and read the whole conversation in my head in an Irish accent. That was fun Grin

Do priests have special socks? Other than the blackest I thought the pope wore sandals but I may be confusing him with paintings of another religious figure

She also had an incandescent flash about me.

Anyone had incandescent flashes themselves?! What are they?

crabb · 12/05/2018 02:33

Ooh, I thought you meant Planet X! Google it and Nibiru if you want a crazy rabbit hole to disappear down...

infertilitybitch · 12/05/2018 02:40

@crabb I think I fell down there once before. Is that the one where the Freemasons came from?

OP posts:
PollyCotton · 12/05/2018 02:46

"incandescent flashes" - is that a new euphemism for the menopause?

infertilitybitch · 12/05/2018 02:50

I did wonder. She had one about me in China and I never replied to her messages about it apparently because the black planet stopped me from doing so.

Naughty black planet interfering with me reading my junk mail. Must not be too strong tonight for me to have opened this one. Fear not folks. Tonight I'm safe

When I was in Rome, we walked past a shop that sold priest robes. I was dying to know if they sold their socks too...

CharlieAustinsMagicHat · 12/05/2018 06:55

I thought this was going to be a thread about Public Enemy.

RoseAndRose · 12/05/2018 06:58

I thought Popes wore red shoes?

Ylvamoon · 12/05/2018 07:18

Isn't the Black Planet the post apocalyptic earth? In which case yes it may be dreadful bad luck to still be alive or incredibly lucky to witness it all.

Anniegetyourgun · 12/05/2018 07:23

So it's this planet in the future going back in time to affect you now? That's impressive. Any planet that can do such things is a force to be reckoned with. What do you reckon is its motivation?

Ylvamoon · 12/05/2018 08:04

Just called a TISHIVOLERU, time shift volcano eruption a real thing in understanding of parallel universe.
So the Black Planet may already have struck her!

infertilitybitch · 12/05/2018 08:55

We ran out of cereal. Hadn't realised. So far that's all the black planet has caused me this morning... wish I could muster up TISHVOLERUs

Nothing like a good Fr Ted quote when you are drunk at 2am 😂

FadedRed · 12/05/2018 11:15

Danger from the Black Planet depends on whether it is small or far away......

infertilitybitch · 12/05/2018 11:53

Gosh @FadedRed I really don't know. Her incandescent flash was as far/near away as China but she hasn't mentioned how close the black planet is

www.meschaussettesrouges.com/en/75-gammarelli-socks

Blimey £17 odd for pope socks. They do come in DEEP black though so it's true popes get the blackest socks
