To not understand Twitter?

I try to get it, I really do. But the thing is, each time I have another look it seems to be like listening in to someone on the telephone - ie you cannot hear the other end.

Everyone is at the party I cannot get to!

Am I doing it wrong?

I've always loved Twitter but hate Facebook. Facebook to me is vain nonsense, Twitter is like thinking out loud.

It’s much more acceptable to share your thoughts on Twitter and not care who sees it. If you do that on Facebook you’re more likely to get blocked, and judged

I don’t get it either. I prefer Mumsnet for discussion and Instagram for pretty pictures.

YANBU. I just don’t get it either. Facebook is irritating but makes sense. I like to share Instagram pics for my folks far away, but Twitter? What the heck is that really?

Read the replies to posts you like/find interesting/whatever. Follow some of those posters if they seem normal. Post replies. I think a lot depends on who you follow. I love it. FB is so slow and boring in comparison.
