I really hate this company.

Without landline and broadband since Saturday, and no engineer until Thursday. They really are the pits. Phoning them is a nightmare and the outsourced staff in some far-flung fucking reach don't give two hoots.

AIBU to say "fuck them in the arse" and tell them to jam the not-so-bloody superhub up their jacksy?

YANBU I sympathise, make sure they credit you for all the down time.

They are closing the call centre in Swansea with it's said a loss of 800 jobs. I've had the misfortune to ring only to complain as I'd waited in all day for an upgrade which didn't turn up. I spoke to about 5 people over a 3/4 of an hour phonecall until I hit the commonsense jackpot and had £20 taken off my account for the inconvenience.

I fucking hate Virgin Media with a passion, we have this all the bloody time
Unfortunately for me it’s the fastest broadband we’ve ever had so DP won’t switch to anyone else
Definitely make sure they compensate you, they’re pretty good at that tbf

We left them after they asked us for £99 after DS then 2 somehow managed to remove the smart card from the TV box and lose it. We expected a charge but that seemed excessive. That was after a long run of increased costs and rubbish customer services. We use plusnet now and have had no problems to date.

DP took them to small claims court a few years back as they kept failing to refund his business account and won. He had great pleasure in claiming costs as well!
