AIBU to start now? When is too late for lawnmowers?

Wouldn't bother me. We are in for the evening (cold and shady garden in the evening)

BuntyII · 06/05/2018 19:07

I think you're good up until 8 or so.

SwedishEdith · 06/05/2018 19:07

Prime time, I would think.

DramaAlpaca · 06/05/2018 19:08

It's fine until it's dark as far as I'm concerned.

Starlighter · 06/05/2018 19:08

Depends on your neighbours, it’s a bit late for people with young kids.

ALemonyPea · 06/05/2018 19:08

Wouldn’t bother me. Good time to do it, when the sun isn’t shining directly on to the grass.

PositivelyPERF · 06/05/2018 19:13

Go for it. Have you seen his posts there are today, from people complaining about early morning grass cutting, grass cutting when others are enjoying their garden, etc etc? There’s always something for a neighbour to complain about. 😀

UnimaginativeUsername · 06/05/2018 19:15

Go ahead.

Reading MN will make you paranoid about cutting your grass at any time. But in reality most neighbours accept that grass needs to be cut. And it really doesn’t take that long.

Dippysnowoman · 06/05/2018 19:16

Def not too late round here. Both neighbours are in fact doing just that.

CrawfordE · 06/05/2018 19:18

Our gardener is mowing ours now, so I'd say it's fine to cut it now.

EggysMom · 06/05/2018 19:22

So long as you're finished by around 9pm, I reckon you're safe. Mind you, some of the parties & bbq's round here will go on much later, they don't know that I have to work tomorrow, I'll just break out the earplugs!
