Sooo pissed off.

Oh Secret that is horrible! I am so sorry. I hope that you encounter some kind people today to balance out the vile excuses for humans who did this.

Armadillostoes · 06/05/2018 09:23

Sorry autocorrect did something really weird there! Sexnot became Secret....

AsAProfessionalFekko · 06/05/2018 09:23

What - was it the only car damaged? Bloody hell that looks like someone is seriously pissed off with you - any suspicions?

sexnotgender · 06/05/2018 09:24

Thanks armadillo, trying to be the bigger person and not wish a plague upon their house...

I don’t know if it was the only car damaged. It was parked behind our flat in a communal car park, so not obviously associated with us.

Bubblesblue · 06/05/2018 09:26

Well that's one way to ruin someone's weekend Angry

Where was the car parked? Is there any cctv nearby that may have caught it happening?

sexnotgender · 06/05/2018 09:27

No CCTV unfortunately. Not the greatest area. The bit we live in is quite nice but backs on to a fairly dodgy bit.

On the upside going to look at our potential new house today so getting away from here soon.

chickenowner · 06/05/2018 09:30

That's a horrible thing to happen.

Can you get in without a key or code? Are spaces numbered? Could it be a neighbour with a gripe? If you have a residents committee I'd get onto them. We had cars broken into in our 'secure' spaces - turned output want secure as some arse had crashed into the gate and broken the lock so the gates didn't lock properly - which also meant that anyone could walk straight through to the building.

sexnotgender · 06/05/2018 09:35

It’s not secure in any way, no allocated numbered spaces. Just 3 double rows of spaces. It’s not residents only either. Just general parking.

OP, my sympathies. What an awful experience.

ThreeJoeys · 06/05/2018 09:51

Sorry to hear that, OP. Must be some low life chavs.

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 06/05/2018 09:59

That's a lot of damage - the keying just sounds like vandalism, but the tyre slashing is unusual and would make me wonder if it was personal.

Is it possible you have been parking in someone's "spot"?

Finderscrispy · 06/05/2018 10:00

Some people are arseholes.

Is the parking in short supply. I.e. someone is annoyed you’ve got a space, took their perceived spec ? Not that it’s any excuse, just trying to reason why someone would do it.

PlatypusPie · 06/05/2018 10:00

That’s so horrible :( There used to be a pub at the end of our nice suburban road that had all kinds of trouble attached to it for historical reasons and there would be frequent random keyings of people’s very ordinary family cars as people left the pub and walked along. ( The police opposed relicencing after a particularly nasty brawl and it was shut down for a long time to re-emerge as really nice family pub)

But actually going into an enclosed car park and attacking a car like that is so deliberately vindictive. Maybe some low life mistook your car for someone’s that they had a stupid grudge about ?

LilMadAgain · 06/05/2018 10:08

I'm sorry you've had a shitty experience today SexNot I hope the house you see is 'the one' Flowers

TheHonSaucyJane · 06/05/2018 10:24

What the fuck is the matter with people? It's like when the council spends a lot of money on flowers etc to brighten up the town for everyone, and some dick decides to trash them and ruin it for everyone.

We recently had our front wall rebuilt - its like dry stone, so took the chap ages. He was part way through when some utter helmet kicked it all down in the middle of the night (we hadn't moved in yet, so like the OP it can't have been personal!); he nearly cried.

Hope they catch them somehow, OP, but I know it's highly unlikely Angry

Fromage · 06/05/2018 10:27

Some people are just scum, aren't they?

Hope the new house happens very soon.

boywiththebrokensmile2 · 06/05/2018 10:32

Had my car keyed once, it is nasty. Don't worry-what goes around ALWAYS comes back around again.

sexnotgender · 06/05/2018 11:20

Thanks everyone. Parking not in massively short supply, was plenty other spaces when we parked.

Just shit really. Dropped it off at repair centre, hopefully can pick it up tomorrow.
