Mlm or not?

I have been invited to join a biohacking group. I'm pretty sure it's an mlm but before I reply and say I don't want to get involved I want to be certain of the facts Hmm
It seems like selling natural tablets to lose weight and prevent (serious) illnesses is what is involved which to me seems to be pretty dangerous and irresponsible. You need a sponsor to get involved and my potential sponsor seems to have invited everyone she knows to be a part of it.
So my aibu is... Aibu unreasonable to say no because its an mlm or do I need a different response?

Sounds like a MLM, especially the ridiculous claims and the fact that you need a sponsor. Real businesses don’t work like this, you will just be your contacts self-employed salesperson and they will make commission off you. If the product is so great and affordable, why isn’t it out there on the NHS or the shops?

You don’t need to answer at all. If you do answer, you would probably do well not to discuss your suspicions. You’ll just get the sales pitch to try and reel you in “it’s a game changer, amazing comp plan, you’re a business owner” etc etc.

If you really feel the need to reply then a simple no thanks, don’t have time, is fine.

Just a short response will do: no thanks. Then ignore further invitations. Bonkers.

Sounds barking mad!!

NO tablet will make anyone lose weight unless prescribed by a gp

Thanks :)
I've replied with a simple "it's not for me"

I'd just reply with "thanks, but I believe in pharmaceuticals and my doctor!"

It's pretty bad. She messaged another friend who had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer to say the tablets could help her recovery.
I wondered if anyone had heard of biohacking because it's the first I've heard of it.
