Things that annoy you that shouldnt in 2018

This is light hearted. I know there are lots of real problems in the world.

My bugbear is that companies can take your money by card within seconds but when it comes to an issue thats their fault and a refund is due , it takes 3 or more days. It’s ridiculous! The technology is there! They could easily do it.
Why is this acceptable?

Companies that require things "in writing". Actual pen and paper post it in an envelope writing!! Email not possible! Shock Angry

Agree! And that you can’t cancel online you have to call so they can try and lure you back.

Cakeorchocolate And you can guarantee that the companies that insist upon this are the ones that NEVER send you anything by 'real' post. Everything is done by email or phone.

3 days is on the optimistic side. The cash machine where I work is frequently broken, so it takes cash out of people's accounts, doesn't pay it out, and they have to contact the bank to get it put back into their account, which can take three WEEKS!

And if you pay a cheque in (archaic, I know), it still takes five working days to clear, when the money comes out of the payer's account straight away. COMPUTERS, people! They're a real thing!
