Sorry posting here for traffic and quick advice.

I'm a social worker. Currently working with a 17 year old avid reader. She is insightful to a certain extent. Keeps finding herself in abusive relationships.

I want to buy her the 'why does he do that' Lundy Bancroft book.

I've never read it - but heard lots of great things about it on here. Do you think it would be suitable for her?

Thanks

I think it is one of the best and important books she’ll ever read

You could also see if you could get her onto a freedom programme course if there’s one near her?

brilliant book, and yes get her onto a freedom programme

Thanks all. I've ordered it for her.. I've put in a referral to the freedom project but suspect there might be some red tape given her age. If I can't get her on I will suggest she does the on line version.

Thanks again.
