AIBU to hate the neighbors cat?

I just found the neighbors cat in my kitchen again and as I chased her out of the house she took a swipe at my arm and drew blood. She's alway's attacking my cats and has maimed all of them (i.e tearing chunks out of their ears.) Me and the neighbours have dubbed her 'pyschocat.' Even I'm scared of her! She keeps coming in the house and attacking my cats. I chase her out but I'm starting to feel such hatred for her. I had to throw pebbles at her to get her out of the garden just now. Am I being unreasonable to feel this way about an animal? I usually love cats and I get on fine with all the other neighborhood cats. I don't think it's healthy to feel this way about a cat, what do you think am I being unreasonable?

Can you get a micro chip cat flap so no strays can get in? Expensive but worth it?

OliviaStabler · 02/05/2018 16:50

Water is your friend. I had a neighbours cat do the same. Soaked the git with water everytime he came in the garden. I mean soaked. He never comes in our garden now.

Get a microchip cat flap fitted then, issue solved

Buy yourself a water pistol and lay in wait. Squirt it everytime it comes through the cat flap. Or hire a small child who likes water guns to do it for you Grin

Yes a microchip cat flap is your friend. Stopped a bully cat coming in and fighting our old girl.

Wolfiefan · 02/05/2018 17:01

You didn't have to throw pebbles at it. Angry Get a water pistol. And a microchip cat flap.

I've got a microchip cat flap for exactly this reason. It is expensive upfront, but has so far given us 6 years of service and my cat is much more relaxed knowing he's "safe" inside.

@Myotherusernameisbest Maybe I could get my niece to stand guard? That would teach her the value of hard work. And the importance of TCP...
