I enjoy the breadth of subjects discussed on Mumsnet but have found that as my kids have got older there are fewer threads that I follow. I would like to find more forums to browse but haven't found any that interest me the way that Mumsnet used to. Can anyone recommend any that they are on?

Though I'm not a member I do sometimes browse Reddit. There's even a board there about MN which I sometimes get slatted on.
But the 'Ask Reddit' forum is very interesting at times. They've tons of different boards so you'll find something interesting.

I haven't been on it for a while now, but I'm on Overclockers (enemy of mumsnet Grin, predominantly men), I like the general discussion forum.
Get a wide range of views, absolutely no swearing whatsoever allowed though.

Oh yes, Reddit too. I've been on 'the MN trolls' bit since it started and aside from some of the infighting (which happens on any forum) it's pretty good.

I regularly use two other chat forums (one is a local one and very dull) and am in 2 large facebook groups. And I read the Reddit Mumsnet Trolls thread most days and occasionally comment.

Don't do any other parenting websites!

Thanks, I'll have a look a Reddit

I used to frequent TES. (Times Ed Supp). I liked the mix of male and female posters which made it lively and fun. For a while.

But then the regime there changed and many excellent, robust and attractive posters were banned one after the other - for basically making the place challenging.

Now the site is full of dull, unattractive yes-people with little of interest to offer. Shame.
