Work five days a week or work 11 hour days over a four-day work week?

5 days a week. 11 hours is long.

Compressed hours where I work is 9 hours on 4 days.

It would depend on the nature of the work really. Something v physical, four long days, something desk based, short days.

That's me. Some like the opposite. It's personal preference.

Childcare isn't a consideration.

No one is judging me on my hours. No one know the hours I work; it's purely performance / results based. Are the 44 hours the same if 5 or 4 days? If you are actually working 50 hours then do it over 5 days.
