For back ground: I've been poorly for some time on and off with a chronic illness and when it's bad it's really bad but when it's good I can almost function normally. DH is fairly attentive when it's bad, although he does work ridiculously long hours and so the majority of DS's care still falls to me.
This week I've been slowly getting worse and for the last few days I have hardly left my bed. DH was still prepared to leave me for around 5 hours to play his sport today (a sport he plays 1-2 times a week) and I've asked him not to.
He was pretty pissed off at first and now he's avoiding the conversation.
AIBU in asking him to stay home this week? I'm prepared to be told I am, I will then hold my hands up and wish him well.
