Don't the library offer an ILL service to try and source it for you?

Your Uni has no access? To what, the journal or the Internet?

Surely you could request they take out a subscription if it is required reading for your course?

No it's not required reading... It's for my research.
No I. L. L have done maximum number for our course!

Most journals (unless open access) do not permit distribution of journal articles so it would be breaching copyright to send it to you.

Im not about to start distributing it in the www....

Anyone sending it to you would be distributing it, and therefore breaching copyright.

Have you tried looking on ResearchGate? Authors often put their copies on there. If not, try emailing the corresponding author?

Email the author(s) - I am always happy to send copies of articles etc if asked

Try googling the citation (including author, volume number and page numbers) - older articles and studies are often available online for free, it's the newer ones that aren't.
