To think I can teach myself how to make clothes for DD?

DD is getting to an age where she loves anything sparkly and wants the whole contents of her wardrobe to be covered in sequins and sparkle. There’s plenty of outfits in the shops, but AIBU to think I could learn how to make a few items myself for her? There’s tutorials on YouTube and some good tips online, but I’m not sure in reality if it’s something I can do with no experience. I’d just love dd to choose some fabrics and for us to make something together, i think it would encourage her to be creative. Are there any mums out there who do this for their daughters?

No daughters but I make children’s clothing.
Do you have a sewing machine?
It can be quite expensive but start easy to build your skills like pillowcase dress, circle skirt etc
