Redundancy, new job, pregnant. WWYD?

My department is being outsourced, and there's a chance they won't need all of us so I may be facing redundancy. I have been offered another job in another company which I have accepted but not signed anything yet.

I have just found out I'm pregnant (very happy, have been trying for a long time) but now I don't know what to do. What maternity pay would i get starting a job already pregnant? Should I stay where I am and hope I'm not made redundant?

If I stay, do I tell them early in hopes of avoiding the chopping block or keep it quiet so they don't see it as an excuse to get rid of me?

Any advice would be very appreciated.

I'd keep very, very quiet about it. Depending on how long you've worked there and how pregnant you are you may get your mat pay added to you redundancy payout. But wait until then to sort that out. If you leave and start with a new employer you won't be entitled to stat mat pay but would get a similar thing but can't remember the name of it now, but it's not a lot.
