I saw him half way up our path, letting his dog wonder around last night. I banged on the upstairs window and he just gave me a cherry wave.
He's nice enough (and knows DH's GPs) but I find it an odd thing to do. It makes me uncomfortable.
DH says you should just get on with neighbours.
