Yep. Had no £ coin for the trolley and had no cash to get change either! Cashier told me to buy one item by card and can get a £ cash back. Brilliant

If they don’t have an atm they do cashback, their tills are set up for it.

Ours has an atm so only uses cashback for trolley coins.

No I had to get a tenner out if I remember rightly and she gave me one £5 note and the other in change so I had some for the trolley

Yes, that's what I've done in the past, get a tenner out, £5 note plus £5 in £1 coins. It was years ago and things change all the time. I don't use cash a lot anyway more, so I wanted to check if it was still the same.

Does anyone know if Aldi still offer cashback at tills or if it’s been stopped now? If so do any other supermarkets offer it? Thanks
