I have had a terrible cough and feeling generally unwell for the past 4 weeks. A few weeks back I had a chest X-ray and was diagnosed with a chest infection and was prescribed with antibiotics. My chest infection is improving slowly, but for the past week or so, every time I cough, I experience a very painful stabbing pain in the left side of my head. Sometimes it lingers after the coughing fit, but mostly it goes.
I'm overweight and have high blood pressure so I'm real anxious it might be something serious. I'm going to see the doctor next week, but please can anyone medical reassure me this is nothing to worry about and that I'll be fine til the doctors next week?
