To be scared

I think I'm going to get a confirmed diagnosis of Lupus this week. Looking at the symptoms it seems to make sense. I'd never heard of it before so Googled and broke down in tears.

I'm really scared. Does anyone have any experience that they can share please?

Of course YANBU to be scared. However, I would suggest staying away from google until you have seen a doctor and had a proper diagnosis

OP - how are you doing? Did they confirm lupus?

@t1mum3 finally had results through and it's negative on blood tests and also on skin biopsy. So that's the end of it. I've actually made a complaint about the way the consultant handled telling me as I genuinely now think she was just after more tests to line her own pocket.
