Hi,

Posting here for traffic as I tried home decorating but got nothing!

Need opinions please. I love it but because of the colour I'm worried it's going to give off a very orange/warm light? It's for a bedroom so practically speaking I need a 'normal' coloured light.

My brother made the point that as there's no glass at the bottom the light coming down will just be a clear light??

Anyone with any knowledge/experience/thoughts?

Thanks

I love it but would imagine there will be a bit of an orange glow where the light comes through the glass.

Fuck it's ugly.

I'm sure my grandparents had it in the 70s.

The light coming off will be the same colour as the bulb. I bet you can find nicotine brown bulbs if that's what you're after.

I think it's gorgeous. Very 70s, but I don't that's a good thing Grin That said, I'd have it in a dining room, not a bedroom. It's likely to cast a yellow glow on the ceiling, and a white light below.

I’m not a fan of the shape, you will get an orange colour in the room but the shape looks a bit too weird for me

I think, not I don't!

We have something similar in our hall. It doesn't affect the light colour at all. I've attached a pic with light on and light off.
