I suggest you stop dunking Shock

Or try shortbread fingers as they're nice and thick.

Justmuddlingalong · 24/04/2018 22:20

Aldi ginger nuts. Dunk 1, 2,3 and eat it in a oner.

TrudeauGirl · 24/04/2018 22:25

Bite both ends off a Mcvities gold bar and suck a tiny bit of tea up.

The tea melts the chocolate/biscuit inaide slightly and tastes amazing. Also no risk of it breaking in your tea. Smile

UpstartCrow · 24/04/2018 22:26

The answer is two at a time for structural support, with emergency spoon back up.

Bumble1830 · 24/04/2018 22:26

WorraLiberty...Stop dunking? As in having a cup of tea with no dunking? Do people actually do this? Confused Smile

Sainsburys have some own brand (thick) biscuits that are ideal for dunking. Unfortunately there are only 8 in a packet. I buy them because they do not contain palm oil and because they are much nicer than the crappy ones that are passed off as biscuits these days.

Bumble1830 · 24/04/2018 22:36

ToadOfSadness Hmmmm, only 8 biscuits? I could buy 2 packs I suppose [laugh]

Never stop dunking.

frankie001 · 24/04/2018 22:37

Yorkshire tea have a biscuit brew out. Drink that and eat your biscuits dry!

movinonup · 24/04/2018 22:40

Get some hobnobs.....The SAS of dunking!

Grilledaubergines · 24/04/2018 22:41

You need nothing less than a hobnob.

A rich tea will only ever let you down. Avoid.

LifeBeginsAtGin · 24/04/2018 22:45

Happened to me last night, Fortunately it didn't disintegrate into mush but stayed fairly whole so I could still drink my tea. I suspect it was partially cracked before I picked it up, rather than leaving it too long in the tea. Blush

VladmirsPoutine · 24/04/2018 22:48

If you insist on dunking then do so with a less than second time-span. Yabu for ruining a decent biscuit!

poorpaws · 24/04/2018 22:51

Mars bars far better for dunking.

WomaninGreen · 24/04/2018 23:07

OP you don't know real tears
I opened the last ice lolly on Sunday, opened the packet, the stick came out and lolly was basically smoosh on plastic wrapper.

Bumble1830 · 24/04/2018 23:12

Oh no WomaninGreen, That's nearly as heartbreaking as thinking there's a biscuit left in the pack....and there isn't Sad

Crumblevision · 24/04/2018 23:17

Worra are you on glue? Grin no dunking??

MrsTommyBanks · 24/04/2018 23:20

Chocolate hob nobs.

lizzlebizzle33 · 24/04/2018 23:24

I feel your pain, I lost a malted milk the other day in my tea and thought I could scoop it out with another biscuit.... Lost that too 😩

WomaninGreen · 24/04/2018 23:42

I was strong. I did not weep.

But it is a moment that has marked my soul.

LemonysSnicket · 24/04/2018 23:53

Good Food magazine have done a dunking chart where they measure how long until a biscuit dissolves in tea. Pink wafer topped at 3 mins.
