Not a TAAT but inspired by the conversation hogger thread. I have a friend who I am starting to consider drifting apart from. She dominates the conversation and talks over/interrupts whoever is talking to update you on some inane shit, usually about people you have never met and have no interest in.

I try to let it go but it is really driving me round the bend. When she interrupts someone else, when she stops for breath I will say 'what we're you saying about xyz' to whoever she has interrupted to bring the conversation back.

I fear I will snap one day and say 'for God's sake stop interrupting all the time' but I know that will be the end of the friendship, which ultimately I don't want.

So, for all those people who said the OP in the previous thread was harsh, how would you deal with this?
