Isn't there a danger with hanging that you could mistakenly hang an innocent person? Imagine some poor woman's shock when she comes back out of the supermarket, carrying her tiny baby in his/her carseat to find her dp/dh swaying in the breeze with a noose around his neck.

I never park in p&t spaces without a child, of course, but that's because I can't drive, being rather small.

What if I parked in a P&T place at 7.30 pm on a wet Friday evening having just got back from work and not been in my home since 7.30 am? P&T places virtually empty, disabled full of 4x4s without disabled stickers!
