To panic? Awful period style cramps mid pill pack

I'm back on the pill, after a long time off it, to help with severe PMS. ADS didn't touch it. So far it's made a big difference.

I started a pack immediately because I wanted to skip my next period as we were going on holiday. And I'm currently a week into the second pack - so haven't had the 7day break for the faux period.

Tonight i can't sleep with gut-wrenching stomach cramps - probably the worse I can remember. I have had a tiny amount of spotting too.

Should I stop taking them and have this 'period'? Could not having had a break be causing this pain??

No don’t panic, I don’t think it’s unusual in the first couple of months.

If it gets worse or you’re concerned at at, call 111.

Hi - sorry you're feeling unwell. I also getting spotting and cramps when taking the packs back to back so try to avoid it now. So it sounds like that is likely causing it.
Regarding stopping the pack - may be worth speaking to a pharmacist for advice here. I usually finish just incase but I have heard you are fine as long as you have taken over 21 days? Definitely check with a pharmacist if you come off to see if you are still covered. Feel better soon
