Ok I’m not tech minded ok and know little about apps.but has anyone heard of a app called jam jar play mobile,
I’m asking because I think someone I know has used my mobile to do this. As I also found two texts from this site one saying I had just subscribed to it at £4.50 a week and another text with login details.
I haven’t had my mobile phone bill this month to check.
But I looked online at this jam jar play mobile it said it was html games ???? Not a clue what that means there was a few games showing that looked similar to candy crush etc but then it said you must be 16 and over to join and have the bill payers permission .
So I checked my mobile to see if this jam jar app had been added to it but nothing . I checked the person I suspect pc to see if this app had been put on there but couldn’t find anything.
So I checked their mobile but no app on their either, it could only be this person as no one else has access to my mobile.
So my question is does anyone know what this jam jar play is and is it possible that the person I suspect has subscribed using my mobile but passed on the login details to someone else to play while I’m paying for this. As it’s not on their mobile apps and to be honest I know the games shown are not the type they would play .one of these texts said if you wanted to stop subscribing just text this number with Stop so I did before it would send a message came up saying by sending it would incur charges but I sent it anyway.
I’m not at all happy about this but I know if I ask this person straight out they will deny any knowledge. They forgot to delete these texts or I would not had known as my mobile bill is direct debit I don’t get a paper bill as as it’s free calls I don’t bother checking the amount .
So if anyone can shed some light on this app like can it only be played on mobiles . From now on I’m keeping my mobile with me .
Ty for reading and I hope I posted in right dept and I have to be honest I don’t know what AIBU stands for its difficult enough getting to grips with dp and all the other abbreviations on here lol but I do know what m.i.l stands for .

These things can happen just by clicking on a link or an advert. Nothing needs to be downloaded, just one link pressed inadvertently.

It is so easy to get these subscription games attached to your mobile account

Thing is I don’t think it was a mistake this person I know was given a sob story while playing a online game called war of Warcraft a player said she couldn’t afford game time and this person was buying it for her nearly every month I only knew when I was asked for my bank card as this person didn’t have any money in their bank of course I asked for what reason then they told me so I didn’t let them use my bank card but wouldn’t listen this stranger from abroad was a con woman .
And I think something like this has happened again but used my phone.

OP very strange why dnt you just confront her and tell her if she does it again you ll be taking it further she cant expect to just steal from ppl and have no consequences!

Well I asked but made out new nothing about it . Hopefully by texting stop to this number it has stopped any money being taken.
