Nursery Logging Incorrect Hours

So I've been having all sorts of problems with my nursery, the main one being that I am always correcting their invoices, they either under or over charge me, I tell them both ways as I think it's only right to be fair with them and amend my payments accordingly (it's not a fixed price it's based per hour) and last month (March), I got my February invoice on the 28th March. After getting really fed up with all the problems I've decided to search for a new childminder so I duly gave my notice to the nursery manager. I've now been told that I have significant arrears on my account and all need to be paid before the end of the month, which I think is rich since I only had March's invoice just under a week ago!
After looking over my invoice they have charged me for 81.5 hours instead of the 70-74 it should be and after speaking with the nursery manager who claims my daughters dad picks her up from there up to an hour late and then speaking with his mum who hosts him and my daughter and finding out that's a load of rubbish, and with the past history of them either not putting her down as having been in or putting her down as in the building where she's not been booked in... Their paperwork trail is atrocious and I just don't know where I stand!

Sounds like a nightmare. Does your child get signed in and out? That might be one way of tracking it all?

It might be chargeable per hour but surely you have to pay for hours booked? You don’t just get money off because you pick up early for example.

ShweShwe it's done by a member of staff, which is why I've identified the wrong hours logged as they don't always sign them out until the following day when no one can remember exactly what time they were picked up so stick 6pm down. And Georgie, no, I always make sure I pay for the hours booked, and if I go over due to circumstances out of my control (all two times), so I know it's not this!
