To think my period will stop with Norethisterone?!

Need to stop my period by Wednesday! Started on Sunday and started taking Norethisterone but no sign of it stopping yet. I know, I should have taken it before but I’m on cezerette pill and don’t know when I’ll get that bloody in between bleed! Please someone tell me it will stop or am I being completely unreasonable and unrealistic?! 😩

I think you have to start taking the pills a few days before you're due.

Yeah I know x but I’ve heard some people have taken them as soon as they’re on and it stops so fingers crossed x

What did the doc who prescribed the Norethisterone say? I'd have thought you might have left it a bit late, but hope it works for you.

I’ve managed to stop mine, but when it restarted it was worse than normal.

I got given cerazette to stop my periods!

keep taking it.. do not stop.. if you stop you will bleed immediately... I bled within 24 hrs of not taking it... groooooooan

I’ve done that a few times - starting taking the tablets after my period had started. It would stop it within about 24 hours.

It can work - I have used it for years.
But when you stop taking it there's a lot of... erm... I would call it Jellyfish like goo. I had a giant jellyfish. But then I was on it a long time.
