Why this fast appearing lump? (Sorry, here for traffic)

Just came up in last 30 mins. He's been coughing a lot but just started tonight. History of allergies (anaphylaxis), which also started as a cough, though hoping it's not related this time (but a little more anxious than I probably should be). Been given glycerin cough syrup and now we've seen the eye, antihistamine as well.

Why this fast appearing lump? (Sorry, here for traffic)

It looks like my eyes when I go near a cat, OP. Is it itchy/sore? Is his vision ok?

Twas an allergy ... antihistamines have stopped his incessant coughing and eye is already going down. I think I'd gotten a bit complacent 😟

It looks like my eyes when i get hayfever so could be that. If so the antihistamine will help

Thanks all .. he had some ice cream earlier and only after all this did he mention that his mouth felt funny afterwards.... was all allergy related 🙁
