Anybody know the app "ring"or "ring chat"?

I have found messages on dp phone, I've left him but am now trying to find all I can, in the message to the other woman he has made reference to messages in "ring chat" and to go there to talk.

I've messaged him and he's said "it's nothing for you to worry about because I love you" then saying "I don't know what it is"

Please anyone if you know, I'm going insane here and I have a child to think about and wether he's worth my time. I'm so lost

Guilty.

ToxicCat · 15/04/2018 10:51

@Aprilmightbemynewname why? What is it? What do you mean

It's a secure private messaging app.

KatieHaslam22 · 15/04/2018 10:55

From what I can find online it looks like a Skype type app.

ToxicCat · 15/04/2018 10:57

@MrsEricBana how do I find the app?

Or history of it being used on a Mac or Sony phone?

I understand that you want to find out as much as you can, but it sounds like he has already incriminated himself with the other messages and you’ve left him.

Perhaps you need to try and let go of the need to find out more and just accept that he’s lied and hidden things from you, so now whatever app he used to cheat on you is irrelevant? It’s likely that any messages will be deleted by now anyway so I’m not sure you will find the proof you are looking for. Flowers

ring.cx

I'm not sure why the average person would need such an app unless they were up to something they're trying to hide.

Otherwise why not just use Skype or FB messenger.

Scoogle · 15/04/2018 11:05

I'm sorry it doesn't look good at all. Plus he will now be busily clearing all evidence.

He doesn't know what an app on his phone is, when he would have had to seek it out to install on his phone? When he tells someone to use it to chat to him?

He is still lying to you.

You've taken the big step of leaving him. You won't find evidence that this was all a huge mistake and he really loves you and he would never do this again. The only evidence you'll find will uncover more lies.

Why put yourself through it?

dworky · 15/04/2018 11:27

Anybody who dismisses your concerns with "it's nothing for you to worry about because I love you" is suspect.

Dontwantanicknamethanks · 17/04/2018 09:51

If you have access to his phone, delete the app without telling him. If you then see it a few days later, then yes, it does look dodgey. It's not a commonly used messaging app, like WhatsApp.

Dontwantanicknamethanks · 17/04/2018 09:54

Sorry, I didn't see that you have left him already. Yes, I agree with others, unlikely you will find anything exonerating him, however much you want it. You're gonna have to work through the pain. Sorry.

autumnleaf1 · 17/04/2018 10:04

Who puts a app on their phone, asks other people to use it, but has no knowledge of it? That's just not even possible. He's lying, what more evidence do you need? The Blue Dot is right, why put yourself through it? At best you will find nothing, you will always know he secretly messaged women and lied about it. At worse, you will find more painful things that you'll have to deal with. You won't find answers, just potentially more hurt and more questions. Find someone who actually loves you, not just uses the words "I love you" to shut you up and stop you asking questions.

ZibbidooZibbidooZibbidoo · 17/04/2018 10:06

You dont need evidence. You’ve left him. You don’t need to prove to anyone why you left him. Just forget about him, stop engaging with him and move on with you’re life. You’re just torturing yourself with this.

Exactly!

colditz · 17/04/2018 10:20

It's entirely possible to love you and be having sex with someone else

honeyroar · 17/04/2018 10:58

You've left him, this is not your worry anymore. He doesn't sound trustworthy, he's not worth any more time. Try and put your energies into moving on from him.
