So my children and I went to the park today. It’s a huge well kept park which is popular with dog walkers and families alike.
The actual swing park is fenced off to keep dogs out and has lots of signs saying no dogs.
While In here today I spot two little dogs running about. I asked the owner if she could please put them outside to which she said of course but as they are so little they keep getting in.
A few minutes later they have climbed under the fence back in.. i again asked if she could put them out and if she perhaps had a lead just while she’s in the park to which she said no she doesn’t have their leads.
At this point the dogs were running all over the kids area. And two little girls were obviously scared and wouldn’t go and play (clung to their mum).
I mentioned that some kids were scared of the dogs and asked her to remove them for the 3rd and final time.
We then left to go to a cafe just outside the swing area where we could see her carrying on letting the dogs running about without watching them and occasionally putting them out. She definitely wouldn’t have seen if they had pooped in there.
AIBU to think if they wouldn’t stay outside, Kept coming in and she didn’t bring leads she should have left the swing park? THey were obviously scaring some kids and were very yappy.
If that were me I’d have left as soon as I realised they wouldn’t stay outside he area without me but none of the other parents said anything to this women so wondering if I shouldn’t have been so bothered.
