Inconsiderate Parking

AIBU to always complain to people about parking on top of, or over my drive?
End drive. Neighbour from another street parks his car outside mine quite far up. So only room for another small car outside mine if they park quite close to his (He parks quite far up so he has enough space to get out - there is a wall behind him). So people will just park in front of him leaving a massive space between them and his car, but on top of my drive. There is a drop kerb, so really they shouldn't park past that to give me enough room to be able to reverse on. I have to make 2 - 3 manoeuvres to get on my drive when they park like this and it really winds me up. All they need to do is park further down. One person is a repeat offender even though I have asked them repeatedly not to.

You need to talk to the one who parks next to the wall...

That thought had passed my mind, but at the end of the day he's parked perfectly legally. The other cars should either be parking closer to him, or not parking there at all. There's a public car park literally around the corner, and usually plenty of parking further down the road, they are just too f*cking lazy to walk and inconsiderate to care.

if the one parked next to the wall parked in the middle of the gap between the wall and your drive would it stop anyone parking in front of him?

Yes if he parked in the middle then no one else could park there without wilfully blocking my drive. Maybe I should ask him to leave his car further up. He very rarely goes anywhere (unemployed). It would take an extra space away though, but I guess if people can't park considerately it serves them goddam right.

Or you could ask him to park up to the end of the curb? Then he'll leave your driveway clear, still be able to get out easily, and there'll still be a space behind him.

In some areas it's a ticket-able offence to do so (special enforcement areas I think they are called). London is like this I believe. Round here it's just classed as an obstruction. I've asked the council for a H bar put in front of my drive but apparently they "don't do that anymore", and basically don't care. Doubt the police would take much notice either.
