Alder Hey is being protested at just now with protesters going inside and lots of police involved.

The family of the boy are very distressed I can see that. But all the others how can they think upsetting other families is helping?

It's all over fb etc.

Reports I read said it was a peaceful protest and the police have stood down.

Have you watched the videos? People are staggering about inside the hosp swearing.

I agree OP. It’s like that ridiculous Charlie’s Army thing all over again

Rent a mob will always gather no matter the cause.

I used to work with a SW (marginally relevant) who actively spent Friday looking for a demo over the weekend - didn't give a Scooby what it was, just so long as she could go and get into an argy bargy.

It's worse they are inside he hosp around the room in picu arguing with police. There's a woman staggering around and even the supporters are asking if she's on drugs. They are filming the Drs working at a desk.

Hugely disruptive. People may well have children dying alright now in that hosp.

Cars are driving past beeping horns repeatedly.

Kids and families inside will be terrified

The newspaper isn't reporting anything like what the live stream videos are showing
