DS is ill in the hospital, advice needed

Posting here for traffic pretty much. Ds is in the hospital as he's having unexplained seizures he's having all sorts of tests done. Blood, ct scans, urine, lumbar puncture and umpteen others. It's just horrific to see him in so much pain and not know what is going on at the end. I know that people go through a lot worse but when I'm on the hospital I want to be home and when I'm home I can't relax for worrying he's going to have another episode. Does anyone know how to make this any easier on him or me and dp? How do other mummies and daddies of poorly babies stay strong them and not absolutely burn out? Thanks I'm advance xx

When my ds was in on /off for ten months I stayed in 24/7 while exh and mil kept things going at home. Dc visited and I went home on a Fri for tea while mil sat with ds.
Was bloody exhausted tbh. I remember going home and the wallpaper seemed so garish after stark white walls!!
Get dp to pack you a survival pack. Snacks /drinks /books /tech and a cosy blanket for sneaky chair naps!!
