Which cordless vacuum?

Any recommendations for cordless vacuums?
Confused at all the reviews and write ups?
Do I go for the cheapest Dyson or a cheaper Vax?
It has to be lightweight - the sharks look heavier.

Vax Blade Ultra 32V has a brush head gets hair wound around it which requires regularly snipping. Once it's got hairy the suction is compromised. Needs to have a bigger space against the floor if you see what I mean.
It can't cope with large crumbs and just pushes them around especially on laminate flooring.
Lightweight though and in comparison to Dyson, inexpensive. Battery lasts 45 minutes of runtime and takes a few hours to recharge. No docking station like Dyson, but it did have one I don't know where o could put it.
Keep your old vacuum cleaner too as the cordless one is very good at whipping round the house. HTH :)

Bosch Athlet. Absolutely brill - I have 2 cats and it copes with their hair, crumbs etc on laminates and carpets easily. Easy to empty out, fairly short charge time, quite long use time (and so efficient that no time wasted).

I got the red one, for pets. Love it so much, I got another for upstairs - latest one comes with attachments too .

Dyson V6 is working very well for us. Lightweight, good on carpets, copes with cat hair, tools clip on and off very easily. very easy to handle on stairs. Have to empty quite frequently, so it it suits our method of cleaning a room when we feel like it, rather than have a major vacuum-the-whole-house session.

Vax not sure of name. £99 instead of £250 ish in Currys recently is excellent.

I bought a refurbished Dyson V6 from the dyson outlet store on EBay. It’s great and I paid a lot less than what I would have paid brand new. Came all shiny and boxed and with a 1 year guarantee

My dyson v10 animal arrived yeaterday and I love it. My carpets look like new and it is so easy to use.
